Muhammad Fraser-Rahim is executive director, North America for Quilliam International. He is an expert on violent extremism issues both domestically and overseas. He previously was a senior program officer at the U.S. Institute of Peace where he led their Horn of Africa Programs and served as an expert on CVE issues. Fraser-Rahim also worked for the U.S. government for more than a decade for the Department of Homeland Security, Director of National Intelligence and the National Counterterrorism Center. He is a Ph.D. candidate at Howard University in African Studies with a focus on Islamic Thought, Spirituality and Modernity.
